Lab Results
Lab work that is not done in our office is sent to an outside laboratory to be processed. Lab results will routinely take 3 - 14 days, depending on the specific test, to be sent to our office. Once they are received, your provider will review the results and you will be notified by phone, mail or e-mail, depending on your indicated preference on record. Notification will be within 48 hours after your provider reviews your lab results or sooner if your provider indicates. Because some results require face-to-face discussion with your provider, an office visit may be required.
